SUNDAY - Palm Sundaypalm-leaves.jpg

I am praying that the Holy Spirit helps us to stop whatever is distracting us from reflecting on this final journey of our Lord; Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit helps us to reflect; during this final week of Lent on the forgiveness and mercy which God has graciously granted us through Jesus Christ.   Ride on King Jesus…

Praise God for giving us another chance to celebrate Christ. It is a great opportunity to witness for Him! I will lift my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1-2)“  Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.” (Psalm 71:18).  Strengthen our faith dear Lord, In Jesus Name.

As Christians our relationship must be built on Love, our fellowship must be maintained in love, and our service must be motivated by love.  When one of the Pharisees asked Him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  KEEP YOUR GOOD RELATIONSHIPS IN TACT - They are hard to find!  Say I am unable when you are unable.   Say NO if you mean NO and YES, if you mean YES.   LOVE ONE ANOTHER

HIS PURPOSE ON EARTH - JESUS – He was born to die for the redemption of our sins.  Just as Judas made a choice to betray Jesus, so every person makes a choice for or against the Lord.  We cannot play the blame game by shifting it to someone else. When our personal goals are not fulfilled, greed often sets in to lead us to wrong, sinful choice and our life is destroyed.  We are all uniquely created with special gifts and talents.  Ask God to show you “your specific purpose” for a living, then commit to accomplishing it!

THURSDAY -  Maundy Thursday

As I reflect on Jesus in Gethsemane, this is where I see clearly the magnitude of His emotional agony as He struggled in prayer to His Father over the events He faced, - “Not my will but you will be done. Permanent sickness, disability and facing death are many sufferings that we endure on earth.   As a human, Jesus suffered physical and emotional pain, but even in agony, He obeyed The Father.  Help us, dear Father, to pray always even in our pain and suffering like Jesus.

“Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask. Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Mather answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:21-25)“.  That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
